Install Clash Verge on macOS
The macOS build comes in two packages depending on your chip architecture, and the wrong one will not run. This guide shows how to identify your chip and complete the installation.
Identify your chip
- Click the Apple menu in the top-left corner and choose “About This Mac”.
- If the “Chip” line shows an Apple M-series chip (M1–M4), you have Apple Silicon — download aarch64.dmg.
- If it shows an Intel processor, download x64.dmg.
Installation steps
- Download the matching .dmg from GitHub Releases.
- Open the dmg and drag the Clash Verge icon into the Applications folder.
- On first launch, if macOS says the developer cannot be verified, choose “Open” in the dialog.
- If it says the app “is damaged and can’t be opened”, see the damaged-app fix — one command solves it.
