Complete uninstall and cleanup
A regular uninstall removes the program itself; for a fully clean slate (or a clean reinstall while debugging), also remove the data directory and restore system settings as described here.
Before uninstalling
- Turn off “System Proxy” and “TUN Mode” in Settings so the system is not left pointing at a dead proxy.
- If you installed service mode, uninstall the service in Settings first.
- Quit Clash Verge (right-click the tray icon → Quit).
Uninstall and remove leftovers
- Windows: uninstall via Settings → Apps, then delete the data directory %APPDATA%\io.github.clash-verge-rev.clash-verge-rev.
- macOS: move the app from Applications to the Trash, then delete ~/Library/Application Support/io.github.clash-verge-rev.clash-verge-rev.
- Linux: uninstall with your package manager (e.g. sudo apt remove clash-verge), then delete ~/.local/share/io.github.clash-verge-rev.clash-verge-rev.
