Installing service mode
Service mode registers a background system service to run the core, removing the per-launch administrator prompt. It is the recommended prerequisite for TUN mode.
Install steps
- Open the Settings page and find the “Service Mode” entry.
- Click install; the OS asks for confirmation (a UAC dialog on Windows, a password prompt on macOS / Linux).
- When finished, the status shows as active.
- You can now enable TUN mode directly, without running the client as administrator.
Uninstalling the service
When no longer needed, click uninstall in the same place. Remove the service before uninstalling the client to avoid leftovers — see the complete uninstall guide.
