Automatic subscription updates

Providers reshuffle nodes from time to time; a stale subscription can leave you with a list of dead servers. With auto-update enabled, the client refreshes the config on a schedule.

Setup

  1. On the Profiles page, right-click the subscription card and choose “Edit Info”.
  2. Enter an update interval in minutes — e.g. 1440 for once a day.
  3. Save, and the client updates that subscription in the background on schedule.
  4. You can still right-click → Update to refresh manually at any time.

When updates fail

If updates keep failing, the subscription URL may only be reachable through the proxy: enable the “update via proxy” option in Edit Info and retry. If it still fails, ask your provider whether the link is valid.
