UWP apps on Windows will not use the proxy

Microsoft Store (UWP) apps are blocked by the system from accessing local loopback addresses, so they cannot use a proxy on 127.0.0.1. Lifting the restriction fixes it.

Use the built-in tool

1. Open the Clash Verge Settings page.
2. In the system section, open the UWP loopback tool.
3. In the EnableLoopback window, tick the UWP apps that should use the proxy.
4. Click “Save Changes” and restart the affected apps.

The alternative

If ticking apps one by one is tedious, just use TUN mode — it captures traffic at the network layer and is unaffected by the UWP loopback restriction.
