Theme and appearance settings

Everything about how the app looks lives in the Verge settings area of the Settings page. Changes apply instantly, no restart, and none of it touches your subscriptions or rules.

Theme mode and colours

  1. Open Settings and find Theme Mode: Light, Dark or System.
  2. For finer control, expand Theme Setting — primary colour, background and the rest accept hex colour values.
  3. The same panel lets you name an interface font; use the exact name of a font installed on your system.
  4. Made a mess? Clear the custom values and save — the interface returns to the default palette.

What else is in there

The same area also switches the interface language, adjusts the tray icon style and picks which page opens on startup. All of it is cosmetic — routing rules and node selection are untouched, so experiment freely.
